Nanjing Huahai 3C Digital Plaza covers an area of approximately 25,000 square meters and hosts more than 400 domestic and international manufacturers and distributors. The plaza has also implemented an “advance compensation” system to protect consumer rights. It features specialized zones for branded computers, mobile communications, digital devices, DIY assembly, and computer repair services.
Since the opening of its first chain store, Nanjing Huahai 3C Digital Plaza, in 2004 on Zhujiang Road—then a dense cluster of computer malls—Huahai 3C has continuously expanded across China. In August 2005, it established the Changsha Huahai 3C Digital Plaza on Chaoyang Road, at the center of the city’s “technology street,” marking its initial strategic move into Central China. In May 2008, Huahai 3C opened a new-generation large-scale mobile and computer mall, the Huahai 3C Mobile City, also on Zhujiang Road in Nanjing, creatively extending its business model and retail format.
In May 2009, the Huahai 3C Plaza in Yiyang, Hunan Province, officially opened, signaling the steady advancement of a regionally focused expansion strategy centered on Changsha. In October of the same year, the Ma’anshan Huahai 3C Plaza in Anhui Province commenced operations, marking the company’s formal entry into the Anhui market and further advancing its strategy of regional integration between Jiangsu and Anhui.
By 2009, Huahai 3C had expanded steadily into cities such as Suzhou, Wuxi, Bengbu, Wuhu, and Xiangtan, gradually completing its strategic布局 across East and Central China and laying a solid foundation for nationwide expansion.
At present, Huahai 3C operates 10 chain malls nationwide, maintains stable partnerships with nearly 500 well-known global IT brands, and hosts close to 5,000 tenant vendors. It serves over 200,000 customers daily, with annual sales by its merchants reaching nearly 10 billion RMB.
